Here is a link to the pre reg form

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=QOTTLQHC

It can either be emailed to me or sent by snail mail to the store.

Those that pre-reg and pre-pay are entitled to purchase a Adelaide Kotei 2010 T-shirt for $10 as well as receive a free Adelaide Kotei gift.

Payment can be made by cash or EFPOS in store or by direct debit to me.

For those who plan to fly into Adelaide, we have a 'jetbus' which is a regular bus that passes through the airport and then into the city. These buses will display J1 or J2 and take about 25 minuets to get into town. Bus stop D2 on Currie st is right out the front of Infinity Games. For timetable information see this link www.timetables.adelaidemetro.com.au/ttsearch.php?action=search&searchtext=Jetbus Tickets can be bought from the bus driver, $4.40 for peekhour, $2.70 for off peak (Mon-Fri 9am-3pm)

Infinity games is a three level gaming store, the top level is generally used as a private gaming space or storage. Understanding the need for players to find accommodation for the weekend we are offering players traveling the chance to use the space. It has plenty of room, shower and bathroom facilities. I wouldn't drink the water but we can supply that, the room can get a little warm and the air-conditioner is a little suspect but there are a few fans available. If I remember correctly there are maybe 3 couches for sleeping, one being a sofa bed. If anyone is interested, or has any questions let me know. There is easily room for 5 or 6 people to share if people dont mind sleeping on the floor.

Would great if you could Joe.

I would love to see a lot of players come down that I have met and had great games with in the past, Dan, Neil, Slug, The Tasmanian chaps, Steve, too many that I can remember at the moment.

Our fancy event poster should be done this weekend and I will also post a tentative prize listing.

Already paid up.  Just need to make sure I get the damn weekend off, or I will be one, very pissed off person.

Also, what is going to be the Honour competition?  Charity stuff (i.e., can drive), Theme Deck, Costume, etc?  Any idea if the Glory competition also has something like 'Name a Card'?

At the moment, theme deck will be the "honour" event, players whom chose to play a theme deck in the main will have the oppurtunity to pitch their theme deck to players and staff, a vote will decide the chosen winners, the top four will all gain honour points for their clan ( which is quite big)

the concept of a theme deck is very much up to the player but consider that it really is a whole package, how the deck is presented, accessories, a printed story, a demonstration, a decklist with justifications, play style etc etc will all be considered.

There will also be a prize for this event provided by us the Adelaide Kotei team that will be announched shortly.

Other important things that have come in our orginising are subjects such as what to do on the second day, there has been a big demand for legacy as its always popular to get the old cards out but with a lot of new players it is hard, we are considering legacy teams pairing a newish player with an old and trying to build as many decks as possible to lend out.
still trying to work out the best way to make things work however.

Also I forgot to mention that the Adelaide kotei takes place during the Adelaide Fringe festival, I belive its now the second? biggest arts festival in the world.

Infinity games is located in the west end of Adelaide which is littered with small galleries and theatres, there will be an abundance of events and activities going on, if anyone would like some more specific advice about what is on, worth seeing or how to get somewhere, just let me know.

Just seeking a clarification here Leigh, but of the 'Honor event' is theme decks played and pitched in the main event then I see it as coming down to whether you're intending to play for Glory or Honor points in the one event. Theme decks would have to be the most impeccable builds to compete against sheer tourney-focussed "gamed-to-win" decks.

Is that the intention, because I'd like the chance/option to be able to compete for both Glory and Honour for the Phoenix. Also if a Theme deck did come Top 4 in the main event and was also already judged to be Honor-points worthy, can it gain both Honor and Glory?

Or am I misunderstanding this?
Cheers,
ODie...
